Rema

Rema, is an 19-year-old emerging artist, whose real name is Divine Ikubor. Rema seemingly came out of nowhere, almost instantly impressing millions with his panoramic take on afrobeats. Rema grew up, lived and hustled in Benin City. As a young rapper in church and school, he knew from an early age of eleven that music was what he wanted to spend his life doing. Rema went on to perform on several stages in Benin City and created his own live band while still in school. The singer was discovered by D’Prince, who is Don Jazzy’s biological brother.

Released on March 22nd, "Rema" is a delicious four-track EP with a sonic palette that goes from Afropop, Trap and smooth Bollywood soundtracks. His passion for Hindi singing was first established on “Turn Up”. But it is on track “Iron Man” that things gets more interesting

Now his EP is number 1 Album in Nigeria on Apple Music, and his song “Dumebi” is also number 1 Song.
