Sobre Modern Life Is Rubbish
Modern Life Is Rubbish es el segundo álbum de la banda de rock británica Blur y fue publicado en 1993. Con Modern Life Is Rubbish, Blur incorporaba más influencias psicodélicas y grunge en el álbum, y fue generalmente bien recibido, manteniendo a la banda como relevante durante la era grunge en el Reino Unido. Habitualmente, sin embargo, se mantiene que Modern Life Is Rubbish es también el primer álbum de britpop y ha crecido considerablemente en relevancia desde su publicación, que inicialmente alcanzó el puesto 15 en las listas británicas.
Los singles de este álbum fueron "For Tomorrow", "Chemical World" y "Sunday, Sunday". El single previo al álbum, "Popscene", no fue finalmente incluido en la publicación en Europa pero sí en la versión americana y posteriormente en la reedición japonesa. Actualmente esta canción sólo está disponible en Europa en la versión de DVD de "Blur: The Best Of".
